Artist: Violise Lunn

I am so fascinated by paper art.
I love it when an artist can transcend the expected and emerge into the unexpected.

Blue
Cordon bleu was what I ordered on my first date with my husband 26 years ago.

The next one is going to be difficult. I'm just not a purple person.
OK, deep rich purple I'm ok with...it's the soft lavender stuff that you will NEVER see in my house or on my body!
I wonder what that means about my personality?

Yellow

What is Yellow?

Yellow is the color of the sun
The feeling of fun
The yolk of an egg
A duck's bill
A canary bird
And a daffodil.

I'm just now realizing where this obsession to these color collages is coming from.
My favorite book as a child was
Hailstones and Halibut Bones by Mary O'Neill
How fun it would be to illustrate this book.
I think I will add that into my 100 dreams list.
