If I were a gnome, living in the woods,
in the late 60's and wanted a house that had a psychedelic feel,
yet blended with the environment.
This is what it would look like!
We usually have some cute name
for the creatures that are posted throughout our home
but this little guy is without one.
He sits perched on top of this home, but nameless..................
Why don't YOU name him!
Leave him a name and your link on this post.
I'll have my hubbie choose the name he likes and
we'll send you a little somethin' somethin'.
Really, a GOOD somethin' somethin'.
I'm going to extend this giveaway until Sunday the 30th.

Great house, I just love it and the little creature who I think should be called Pokey
Karen
He reminds me of something from Dr Suess- maybe Suess would be a good name- or Horton?
Oh...your hubby is talented. How about Jacques Es Cargo!
Very cute...Fly on over and visit me too. A name, how about rumplestilskin? Just kidding. How about salty, snails do tend to eat the pretty flowers LOL
This one is also cool. I was wondering what the french word for a cookie was...i see the she's sew pretty hit the french connection first! This little guy should be called...Snickerdoodle. I guess you could always call it Miss Piggy -didn't she get teased about snails???? Joyce
Have fun at the party Terisa
Ok im laughing my head off over that lil' ole snail, he is so gosh darn cute! he reminds me of my sons favourite toy, a much loved giraffe who goes EVERYWHERE with him....anyway they have the same kinda face and the little feelers and i think you should name him STINKY as well. Yep, Stinky the snail :)
AND now i will be serious and say WOW your hubby is exceptionally talented and those birdhouses are simply awesome! It was an absolute joy to pop by here.
Blessings,
Shannon :)
SnailBert!
So cute!! What about Escargot...he looks kind of French?
Siobhan
Sid the psychedelic snail sits on siding singing 60's songs.
Both houses are so cute... I do think the second one is my favorite, as it is a bit on the "other side" of birdhouses...
I would name him "Tether" as he is tethering on the roof of whether he wants to go in or just sit up there and take in the view...
check out my birdhouse.. hugs
How about Dizzie? I'd say a snail that got up to the top of a house might feel a bit disoriented.
Great houses! You have a talented husband!
Snicklefritz was my automatic reaction... His friends can call him Snickle and his business associates can call him Fritz. Or Mr. Snicklefritz in formal environments. Way cool house! Seriously-way cool!
Chester hangs onto the rooftop for dear life hoping his camouflage idea will save him, as he stares, petrified, at the giant blue jay flying toward him at breakneck speed....
So psychedelic. Love it. How about naming him "Speedy", it took him no time to climb up
there.
I wanted to tell you how much I love your birdhouses--your husband made some great ones! I'm not very good at naming things, but as long as I'm here I will say that he looks like 'Sheldon' to me...Marilyn:-)
Oh, now this birdhouse is so wonderful, it is no wonder this little guy would like to sit on top and claim it for his own. I think any respectable creature who looks like he has cousins in the Dragon family would be have a name likeeeeeeeee SASSOON. No matter what his name, he is the cutest little guy and your birdhouse is genius. Karen
This birdhouse is genius, but I however am not...and I am not too sure if my comment was saved or it disappeared. So, I will leave another just in case. I think that this creature looks a bit like a Dragon and a bit like a snail. So, I think his name should be SASSOON. No matter what his name becomes he is absolutely adorable. Karen
Oh, but wait! There's more! I think his name is "Figment!"
Stop by and visit my drawing, too!
This is too cute!Fantastic artist your husband!
How about Freddie Mercer. My fifteen yearold daughter Em picked it.
Sweany...I'm just sure thats what his name is.LOL. Laurie
He looks like a Snedly to me! Quite the cutie!
It's still Sunday here in Texas so I'll try this again and maybe my internet will stay up! I'm pretty sure that darling little guy was a stowaway on the SS Enterprise and was found by Mr. Chekhov who kept him and named him... Chekkers! I've now shown what a nerd I am so please pick me!!!!!Nancy
Love this little house and the snail!
Glad he has a name now. :)
