The "Revamp" reveal is on!
The ever so talented Natasha Burns hosted this fabulous challenge.
Pulled from the tired and worn
and recreated into the new and improved.
Hmm, that gives me an idea!
Since I feel tired and worn, I wonder if I could be recreated into a new and improved?
The sweater was cut and resized to allow it to be worn with the "V" in the front or the back.
The excess that was removed from the bottom was serged and used as all the decorative ruffle.
Happy to finally have a use for the flowers I made awhile back, they were added to the shoulder as an epaulette.
The skirt was made from a pinstripe trouser that I loved with leather and zipper detailing. The legs were cut off to form a yoke, hitting at low hip. The legs are then cut and spread flat.
The legs were then gathered onto the yoke with a white cotton under slip that peaks out from the sides. It is trimmed with a white eyelet ruffle.
The final touch is the belt.
I have a gazillion labels. Yes, I said gazillion!
They were stitched onto a black belting fabric.
The buckle was covered with fabric and coated with Aleene's Paper Glaze.
