Bonnets and Birdwings

Isn't it interesting how one image can lead to an0ther ?

Like most artists I am taken by visual influences.

Vogue Italia May 2007 Alana Zimmer Michelangelo di Battista

One photo can lead to the inspiration for another.

This is a panel series done for Karla and Beth's Birds and Bonnets swap.

The panels each had to contain at least one image from The Vintage Workshop's collection.

One one side of the boards are the faces of women with their bonnets.

Now I had to figure out what to do with the other side.

Then I saw this photo.....

Birds...Birdwings...Fairies!

Naked Fairies!

Well, not entirely naked they did leave their hats on!

And RED shoes.

Oh, Terisa, these are so cool!
I love anything with fairies, even nudy judy fairies.

Love the red shoes. Very oz-like!

If my youngest saw the eye makeup in the pics, she would do her best to duplicate it on her own face.

Hugs!
